ASSESSMENTS

WE GATHER INFORMATION.

In this initial assessment session we will discuss your concerns and how occupational therapy will benefit

your child.

The OT assessment includes a one and a half hour, one on one session where clinical observations and standardized tests are conducted. These observations and the completed parent questionnaire will help us determine your child's strengths and weaknesses and areas of concern.

In Sync Kids Affiliates

Part of our approach at In Sync Kids OT is to work collaboratively with other medical professionals, who can be of assistance in your child's treatment program. We also receive referrals from them.

Specialists in kids fitness, Kids fit tribe have setup the Phoenix Tribe to help kids with their physical development in a supportive and small class environment with passionate coaches focusing on getting the best outcomes for your child.

Learn & Grow is a Brisbane Speech Pathology service located in Paddington, Bardon and Palm Beach. We believe that working closely with parents and families is an essential step in delivering meaningful, client-centered services. Our Speech Pathologists will help your child to become a more confident communicator, and will make sure they feel motivated and excited about coming to their next Speech Pathology appointment.

Vision & Sensory Integration go beyond the Traditional Vision Care and assess the "whole" visual system (central and peripheral vision) in an innovative way that allows better Vision and Sensory Integration.

Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) is the therapeutic application of music to cognitive, sensory, and motor dysfunctions due to neurologic disease of the human nervous system (Thaut, 2005). NMTSB applies neuroscience and music perception and production research to address issues in individuals with neurologic differences such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury. Neurologic Music Therapists are qualified music therapists who have completed extra training in NMT.

Lullababy SOS Sleep program supporting mums and babies through the fog of sleep struggles. This programme has been developed with a firm belief in SUPPORTING your child’s learning. We assist you with the skills to supported, practise and encourage your baby to sleep, CONSISTENTLY and progressively as your child grows.
